Caution
What we mean by caution must be definitely understood. The ignorant may assume that caution is inaction or the gloom of fear. On the contrary, caution is a strengthening of action, watchfulness and courage. Caution is very necessary when fiery waves are provoked. One can resist such tensions by means of the magnet of Hierarchy. When I indicate caution, it is necessary to direct the heart, aflame to Hierarchy. (FW II, 450)
Caution was ordained because it is but a quality of valor. (FW I, 287)
I continually speak about cautiousness, but I do not wish to inspire timidity in you. A cloud impels a gardener to take measures for protection, but he is not afraid of every whirlwind. (BR, 234)
