The Great Invocation
The Great Invocation is not a ‘prayer’ and it shouldn’t be
used as such.
It rather refers to the Law of Evocation-Invocation (see) that is the fundament
of the Ceremonial Theurgy. The ‘access’ to it is a prerogative of
the Initiate.
The Invocation is the construction of a great Form-thought (see ritual Eggregore),
which Accepted Disciples (mental or manasic plane), Initiates (egoic or buddhic
plane) and Masters (animic or atmic plane), use to ‘generate’ the
‘psychic precipitation’ of a certain energetic quality, in local
or worldwide events.
We must not forget the ritual use of Mandalas either; they are made by Initiates
and ‘dissolved’ in certain moments of each cycle, therefore freeing
the energies concentrated in them.
The invocations are ritual instrument of attraction and energetic
expansion.
They are ‘built’ according to different (energetic) types, in
order to suit the different needs and occasions (energetic types and tones).
We must remember that nobody can express an energy that doesn’t belong
to him in a form-thought. This is why each person or entity can only represent
and express qualities that belong to him. This ‘qualitative diversity’
expresses the diversity in the ‘status of conscience’ called Hierarchy.
It’s not surprising, therefore, that they change as time goes by and
especially when the ‘objective reality’ ‘changes’.
The Great Invocations of the past are now ‘inert’ instruments.
On the contrary, those still in use are ‘living’ rituals and therefore
they are reserved to advanced Disciples and Initiates.

The Great Invocation. Part One and Two.
(From 1935 to 1945).
Let the Forces of Light bring illumination to mankind.
Let the Spirit of Peace be spread abroad.
May men of goodwill everywhere meet in a spirit of cooperation.
May forgiveness on the part of all men be the keynote
at this time.
Let power attend the efforts of the Great Ones.
So let it be, and help us to do our part.
***
Let the Lords of Liberation issue forth.
Let Them bring succor to the sons of men.
Let the Rider from the secret Place come forth, and coming,
save.
Come forth, O Mighty One.
Let the souls of men awaken to the Light,
And may they stand with massed intent.
Let the fiat of the Lord go forth.
The end of woe has come!
Come forth, O Mighty One.
The hour of service of the Saving Force has now arrived.
Let it be spread abroad, O Mighty One.
Let Light and Love and Power and Death,
Fulfill the purpose of the Coming One.
The Will (1st ray) to save is here.
The Love (2nd ray) to carry forth is widely spread
abroad.
The Active Aid (3rd ray) of all who know the truth
is also here.
Come forth, O Mighty One, and blend these three.
Construct a great defending wall.
The rule of evil now must end.
