The Wave of Life and other principles of esoterical Phylosophy

The Author writes about “the Wave of Life” and other principles of esoterical Phylosophy

The Wave of Life and other principles of esoterical Phylosophy
..."What animates every form is motion”; I don’t know if by ‘animate’ you mean ‘makes manifested’ or ‘makes alive’...

Answer: an energetic essence of a higher kind (spiritual) expresses its own ‘desire’ to appear, pushing a part of itself in manifestation. This push is higher in vibration and ‘creates’ a form in the lower substance (think of a slap in the water).

This happens when the higher aspect (the energetic nucleus called spirit) ‘animates’ with itself a heavier (slower) and material aspect of substance.

How is it possible to animate an aspect below characterized by a slower vibration (energetic sound)?

The animation occurs when the higher being impresses with itself a heavier (slower) substance, penetrating it (this is the misunderstood ‘fall’ of the spirit in the matter).

This impression reflects in a denser plane the form of the higher being, ‘animating’ in this plane its parallel form. Because of this ‘similitude’ the human conscience, not his body, is called the ‘son’ of a ‘divine father’, which is the spirit.

The closest aspect to a physical conscience of the energy that animates it is called ‘our’ soul. This is a mistake, because the soul doesn’t belong to us, but rather, being its ‘form’, we are an expression (manifestation) of it.

At this point, let’s focus on the sequence of animations that interest the human, remembering that many tones and hues of those aspects intersect each other:

A) The so-called super-consciousness: spirit, soul, higher Ego or true Self,

B) The so-called consciousness or vigilant conscience: the lower ego or personal self (reason)

C) The so-called sub-consciousness: instincts, impulses and animality.
Let’s see, for example, a ‘descending’ aspect of this energy.

Will, determination, courage, strong attitude, physical will, strength, violence.

Let’s now see the return, namely the ascending aspect or way back:

Violence, strength, determination-tolerance, intelligent strength, strength of mind – spirit of sacrifice, intuitive intelligence, spiritual will.

In order to better express the idea of reflection and reflecting, which is the aspect ruling the manifest world, we will use the image of the sun that rises on a meadow.

We might think that there are thousands of suns reflected in the drops of dew on the grass; or that thousands of drops of dew reflect the sun.

In both cases we would turn reality upside down. The sun, like a ‘Central Unity’ (God), rises and reflects itself in a multitude of drops of water (the form).

The drops ‘are’ (manifest) its reflection as long as it is there. When it disappears on the drops there will be no trace of it. The drops will then ‘die out’, although the sun’s life will continue elsewhere.

Here we are at the postulate: the energetic essence (the spiritual sun) lives of itself even when there isn’t a form to manifest it. This is not true for the physical form, which doesn’t exist without the ‘presence’ of the energetic essence or without its push to show itself.

We can guess, then, that the ‘presence’ of this energetic entity is ‘life’; without it the physical form would have never appeared on its material plane.

This is the relation under which we need to put the life that animates and any apparent form, even the human appearance that many people identify with, not recognizing the appearance of their primogenial nature any more.

Through this postulate, esoterical Philosophy (called living Ethics) starts dealing with the motives that ‘drive’ a spiritual essence to show itself on the physical plane.

In the exoterical view, though, the causes that originate a manifestation (the true whys) are confused with the effects that keep it on the material plane. For this reason, the karmic motives will always be considered ‘effects’ and never causes. The Karma, in actual fact, is not a cause, but rather a consequence of its (unconscious) ‘presence’ on the physical plane.

..."Which supports and keeps the physical form and its attributes (the reason)” Is every thing manifested on the physical plane gifted with reason, then? What do we mean by reason?”

Answer: by common definition, the reason is the mental aspect able to express a thought, a judgment on self and others, people and facts.

It is the conscience of what we think we know or we think we want for our wellbeing. We can find a wider ‘reason’ that includes every kind of manifestation, more diffused because it involves every form of life.

It is the reason that drives to evolution. The evolutionary drive is the reason that involves the inborn intelligence of every living form; even the heaviest (slow) like mineral substances. This reason is the reason of life.

..."Until it stops ‘reflecting’ to retire into a pause of (material) silence, where it grows and re-generates a new tone of the same note.”

I translate it as: a person dies, regenerates his vital strength and then he re-incarnates.

Answer: the deduction from the point of view of the physical form is defective because of its egocentrism. At the center of the idea there is the vision of personality (person) that doesn’t regenerate absolutely anything, because it is not designed to carry out the task of the soul, except in some extraordinary cases (3rd initiation or major initiation).

The soul portrays the fragment of self used to ‘occupy’ its form and makes it silent and inanimate (physically dead).

The soul, reflection of the spirit (individual Monad) withdraws in order to re-generate the part of self that has been diluted with the physical matter. At the same time the soul ‘reflects’ (excuse me this term) new strategies, in order to become stronger on the material plane.

This project is the Great Work called consecration of the matter.

When the Initiate blends his physical conscience with that of the higher Ego or true Self, the ‘Bridge’ (Antahkarana or real arch) is created, joining soul and personality. The latter is then called integrated (with the project of the soul).

The integration and blending of the two wills (personal and animic) manifests (embodies) an Initiate, who is called a divine Workman.

..."This is the ‘elevation of the spiritual conscience.’ In what sense? I thought that it was the manifestation of the Divine on the Physical plane. Why do you say that it is the elevation of the spiritual conscience? To say the truth: what is the spiritual conscience?

Answer: every physical form is, on its plane of existence (subjective dimension) an expression of the divine. It contains its imprinting (impression), although modified to make it suitable to the contact with the denser substance (slower vibration of the more external and material dimensions).

The ‘spiritual fragment’, become physical conscience, must be taken back to the original ‘splendor’ (illumination).

This fragment has become forgetful of itself, like in the saying: from the stars to the barn stalls. It must be taken back to the memory of itself and its true nature of divine origins.

Like a dethroned king the conscience must elevate (from itself) and bring itself (by itself) back to the rank where it belongs, after awakening (by itself) from the ‘torpor’ of the heavy (slow) earthly sensations. In order for this to happen properly, it is necessary to follow a way of spiritual development proved to be efficient, called itinerary of self-conscience.

In conclusion, it is a mistake to think that the ‘divine’ and earthly dimensions are separated. Both concur to the same purpose, therefore there’s no reason why they should be considered antithetical and conflicting. In other words: they are two faces of the same coin called: (divine) Life and (material) Existence.

Summarizing:
1) Is it right to deduce that everything (even stones, clouds, fire, etc...) is alive?
Answer: all is alive until it contains a living atom that animates its ‘reason of being’.

2) What do you mean by ‘reason’? Perhaps it means ‘Conscience’?
Answer: the physical reason, as we know, often thinks nonsense, confusing good and evil. Therefore I exclude that reason and conscience can be considered equivalent.

3) What do you mean by ‘spiritual conscience’?
Answer: there is a bigger spiritual dimension that surrounds the physical dimension of the universe. Inside the physical dimension there are ‘relative spaces’ of spiritual dimension that, so to speak, exist inside every living concept.

As it is described in the «Ezekiel Scale», spiritual parts descend whilst others ascend; this creates the cyclic motion that, like a big pendulum, beats the rhythm of the divine manifestation (see Great Book of Nature), made by light (appearance) but also by shadows (disappearance). Light and Shadows, though, are two expressions of the same Unity: this is what we are supposed to get to know.

4) Is it right to deduce that every thing that is manifested on the physical plane is gifted with reason?
Answer: certainly. The concept, though, must be studied more thoroughly.

5) Is the ‘Wave of Life’ a synonym of ‘Vital Strenght’?

Answer: the Wave of Life which some Masters working on the first 3 rays talk about, is the long line of (intentional) causes and their consequences on denser levels.

It is manifested through ‘tones’ (psycho-emotional sounds and colors) that become the ‘phenomena’ that make life apparent; this happens through a process of formal expressions that characterize the physical forms that we know well.

The physical expressions, though, are only the last link (every link is a different dimension) of life that evolves, generating the different forms of existence. From here originates the distinction between life and existence.

In order to study the evolution of the Wave of Life (motion in expansion) we should start thinking in terms of multi-dimensionality.

This concept is difficult only in appearance.

Let’s think, for example, of a space divided between many boxes, one inside the other.

If we grasp this concept, it won’t be difficult to grasp the idea of ‘synchronicity’. Indeed, since all the relative spaces are parts of a bigger space (dimension), all that happens in one of them is communicated immediately to the others. This is the principle of synchronicity that links every dimensional space, from the subtlest (divine and spiritual) to the heaviest of the material plane.

6) Is the Wave of Life the ‘Hidden Life’ which Annie Besant talks about in her famous prayer called ‘O Hidden Life?
Answer: I don’t think that a prayer can be considered as knowledge. Perhaps as a metaphor. In this case, it is possible that it shows the same principle. Metaphors, though, have a purely indicative value. If there isn’t anything better, they can help directing the Traveler. In order to proceed on the initiatory path or to approach the living teaching, it is necessary to get used to thinking in terms of principles, omitting symbolical terms that, with a metaphor, are part of the garden of the Temple.

It is necessary to learn how to knock at the Door of the Temple, waiting for someone to open it and let us in.
